During the First and Second World Wars, the City of Verdun — today part of the City of Montréal — fielded one of the largest per-capita contingents of military volunteers in Canada. This new exhibition developed by the Maison Nivard-De Saint-Dizier not only explores Verdun’s fascinating history, but also takes a look at its outstanding wartime commitment, both at home and on the front lines.
