This new online exhibition explores the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837, and the fight for responsible government, through the eyes of a religious sect known as the Children of Peace. In addition to examining the reasons behind the Rebellion, the exhibition shares personal accounts of battles and imprisonment, and the importance of this small community’s efforts in shaping the Canada we know today.
