Founded in 1920, the Cercle de Fermières Saint-Eustache was established to encourage the practice of traditional crafts, while also bettering the lives of women and their families. In 2021, the Cercle had more than 100 women working in crochet, knitting, weaving, sewing and painting. Showcasing the stories of about 20 Fermières, this online exhibit is also a celebration of friendship, community and the textile arts.
